No New Posts general board

You can talk about anything here, as long as you stay within the boundaries of the rules.

No New Posts plots;

You may create character-related plots here. As THTQ is at this point an open-plot roleplay, you may allow your characters to be governed by your own deviousness (muha). Staff members have to right to reject your plot ideas if they do not fit continuity or go against site rules.

No New Posts The River Thames

Flowing through southern England, and through central London, is the vastly polluted grimy mess known as the Thames. Many enjoy a relaxing summer lounge by the river, watching the swans swim past and avid boaters punt across the water. The river is an easy way to travel across town.

No New Posts The Slums

The term 'slums' could refer to several areas across London. However, the most concentrated area of lower-class wretches live alongside one area of the Thames. Conveniently enough, the area is also home to a vast mud-pile that contains all sorts of treasures washed ashore over the years. It's a disgusting place, but not many can afford to live elsewhere.

No New Posts The Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace, built for the Great Exhibition of 1851 (the one your parents talk of) and then moved and reconstructed and then moved to Sydenham Hill, one of the wealthiest areas of London. Still frequented today, it houses various artifacts and important inventions.

No New Posts The Clock Tower

Built in 1258, the Clock Tower, affectionately known as 'Big Ben', is currently the largest of it's kind on the earth. It is one of London's many boastful attractions, though anyone you ask will complain how loud it sounds at three o'clock in the morning.

No New Posts The Downtown

Bustling with people of all classes, downtown London is full of shops and vendors and urchins selling flowers and fruit.
[You may apply for a shop in the Downtown by sending a message to Admin or Jackson]

No New Posts Palace of Westminster

Residing in the West End of London, in Westminster, is the aptly named Westminster Palace; the seat of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. It lies on the Thames, and is one of the largest buildings in London. Obviously, it is not inclined to public visitation.

No New Posts Westminster Abbey

Another of London's most famous sites is the Westminster Abbey, where hundreds of kings and queens have been crowned and just as many have been buried. With it's Gothic architecture it strikes a rather menacing figure.

No New Posts Bank of England

The largest and most monopolizing of London's banks is the Bank of England (known simply as 'the Bank' in most cases). Most of the city's citizens do their business here, and many find jobs as tellers and guards. It features the most modern of safes, and attempted thievery is discouraged.
